Free Flood Cleanup Kits Available

Pick one up at Bismarck Salvation Army, 601 S. Washington St.

BISMARCK, N.D. – August 3, 2011 – Flood cleanup is beginning as the Missouri River inches downward. To help local residents, the Bismarck Salvation Army has received a fresh shipment of cleanup kits complete with brooms, mops, brushes, bleach, gloves and much more.

The free kits will be available, as resources allow, until cleanup is complete.

“Stop on by to pick one up,” said Major Lee Morrison, Bismarck Salvation Army administrator. “A big thank you to Bismarck residents for all the donations they’ve given. Their generosity has helped us serve countless flood survivors this year.”

The kits are available Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. at the Bismarck Salvation Army, 601 S. Washington St.
