Buffalo Wild WingsŪ Donating 10 Percent of Sales to
The Salvation Army for North Minneapolis Tornado Relief

June 1, 5-9 p.m. at locations in Crystal, Roseville and U of M campus

May 31, 2011
Buffalo Wild Wings® will donate 10 percent of its food and non-alcoholic beverage sales to The Salvation Army for North Minneapolis tornado relief on Wednesday, June 1 from 5–9 p.m., with participating locations in Crystal, Roseville and Station 19 on the University of Minnesota campus.

In order for meals to count for the fundraiser, customers must mention they are dining to support tornado survivors.

The Salvation Army is trying to raise $1 million for survivors of the May 22 tornado to assist with relocation expenses, furniture, clothing and other necessities.

“We want to support The Salvation Army and tornado victims after the tragedy on Sunday,” said Eric Stanton, Buffalo Wild Wings General Manager at the Station 19 location.  “By offering 10 percent of food and non-alcoholic beverage sales on June 1, 2011 to the Salvation Army, Buffalo Wild Wings and our guests are supporting our friends and neighbors, making the Metro an even better place to live.”

To date, The Salvation Army has provided $121,000 worth of food, clothing, gas vouchers, gift cards and other assistance for more than 4,200 North Minneapolis tornado survivors. An additional 3,800 survivors and relief workers have received food, drinks and snacks from Salvation Army mobile kitchens.

Those who can’t go to Buffalo Wild Wings tomorrow can donate online below,  by calling 800-SAL-ARMY (725-2769) or by sending a check to The Salvation Army, 2445 Prior Ave., Roseville, MN 55113.
